So I've decided to bow to peer pressure and get one of these LiveJournal things.

Now, I hope to keep this thing drama-free. Unlike some of the LiveJournals I've seen or have heard of, I don't intend to put the intimate details of my personal life on display for all to see. What I do plan to do is keep track of stuff I'm planning on doing, announcing it in case any of my friends in Bellingham (most of whom are avid LiveJournal users) feel like coordinating activities or rendezvousing with me.

I might occasionally talk about things which have been happening to me, both good and bad, and I might throw out the occasional bit of philosophy or writing for people to comment on. I just intend to post anything that is going to cause the sort of rows I've been seeing as a result of a LiveJournal post. That's for Real Life, people. If you're going to say something about someone, or about something they did, have the courtesy to say it to their face first. It's what I do; I hope that people will do the same for me.

Social Calendar, 5/20 - 5/27

If anyone is interested, these are the things that I'm doing between May 20 and May 27:

• Sunday, May 20, 11:00 PM -- Attending the Full Moon Masquerade at Rumours Cabaret, Bellingham. The usual evening of dancing, without the usual drinking (I hate being poor).
  
• Monday, May 21, 8:30 PM -- Attending Poetry Night at Stewart's Coffeehouse, Bellingham. Hanging out with folks, watching Richard and Steve bring the house down.
  
• Friday, May 25, 7:00 PM -- Attending Vampire: The Masquerade LARP at Western Washington University, Bellingham. Trying to teach the newbies how to play this game.
  
• Saturday, May 26, 4:00 PM -- Attending Barbecue and Memorial Day Party at Freak Manor, Bellingham.
