my apartment is packed. it doesn't feel quite as much like home. it was really scary, last night.

the only remaining decoration is the big painting on the wall over my computer, _The Shinto Bride_. it's the most fragile and hardest to transport -- and probably most expensive -- thing i have, so we're dealing with it last.
