Well, no word on the interview as yet, nor have I heard from anyone else. F5 is still interested, but they won't know whether they have any openings until the end of next week. (It's all about earnings and budgeting for this fiscal quarter). If they don't have any openings next week, they'll not have any new positions until October, when the fiscal year ends... barring turnover, of course. I can always hope.

In other news, I had fun hanging with Mika, her boyfriend, and several other fellow geeks at the Mercury last night. DIE and database theory, whee. Went for a lovely walk on the Seattle harborfront with Stephanie, talking and looking out on Elliott Bay. I love harbors of all kinds, especially those of big cities. There's such a feeling of potential adventure and excitement in the border zones between one land an another -- that's part of why I gravitate to the ocean so much, I think.

*Yawn* It's getting rather late. I'm suprised my parents aren't home yet...
