I can't really see a Jedi driving a Lexus. Too bourgeouis. Jedi are at peace with themselves; they disdain the need to display personal worth through one's possessions; therefore, a true Jedi would drive a Geo Metro. An old but reliable one. Or else ride a bike. Or better yet, walk.

And you know the Sith drive gigantic gas-sucking Caddys with whaleskin hubcaps and all-leather cow interiors, complete with the James Bond-ish missiles and recessed MG emplacements.

So it must be the pants.

Whee! I love coding in Perl. It's the programming equivalent of playing with power tools.

weekend. please. dear gods.

So I worked a 12-hour day yesterday and plan at being at work for at least 10 hours today.

On the one hand, I love my job, and I'm coding, so the time passes REALLY quickly. And it means not being at home. Always a plus, when you're dealing with my parents and their new houseguest. (Only a few more months till I have the car paid off, and I can get out of there...)

On the other hand, I really, really, really need to de-stress, especially after last week's Weekend of Unbelievable Suckiness. So I am presently living for Friday night, espresso, dancing, clove cigarettes and strong drinks.

I'm also very, very impatient.

Why am I very, very impatient?

Because it is eight days until I hold my beloved kinfae in my arms again.

But it's a happy kind of impatient, because now at least there's a time, a place, and I know I will see her soon.
