not a snowday
Dec. 9th, 2005 01:03 pmEveryone on my friends list who lives east of here has been posting about the Snow. All that snow they got, that is keeping them home. And I keep going "What snow? There's no snow, what are you talking about? It's been sunny and clear and it hardly snowed at all that time a week or so ago."
I think I shall forgive myself for this, though, as due to the fallout from last night's script kiddie antics, I didn't stop working until about 2:30 AM. And I was up at shortly after 7.
It hasn't been a good week, no.
Tonight should, in theory, see me at the Alderwood Loews theater to catch the 10:30 showing of the Narnia movie. I'm even less of a fan of the source material than I was of LoTR -- I at least tried to plough through Tolkien's dry prose, unending digressions and lengthy historical notes -- but I have to admit it does look good, and I will be in fine company, so it will be fun.
And now I have been assigned to develop our DoS defense strategy (no comments from the peanut gallery about our not having one already, Daniel) so I shall return to my labours and you, gentle Eastern reader, can go out and huck snowballs at cars.
