Oooh. That's what was missing.
See, I've reduced my caffeine intake to nearly zero.
The last few days I've been feeling half-asleep, logy, totally unproductive, and generally zombified.
(To give you some idea, I drank 3 cups of coffee this morning before I realized it was decaf.)
Two cups of REAL coffee and two handfuls of chocolate-covered espresso beans later, I feel much better.

Eeeew.
I envy your chocolate-covered expresso beans, though. :)

Date: 2002-04-10 12:27 pm (UTC)Caffeine as a long term solution to being run down doesn't work. Eventually it stops helping, and it's also a diuretic which can cause calcium loss & weak bones (like osteoperosis) over time.

Date: 2002-04-10 12:44 pm (UTC)For the last month, I've reduced my caffeine intake to near zero. Today is the first time I've had coffee in *weeks*... and that's because if I didn't have caffeine, I would not be able to be productive. I'm seriously wondering what the heck is up with me.
Granted, I'm still recovering from the pneumonia I had the week before Con, but I would have thought I'd be back up to snuff now.
