kespernorthSo I just got called into my boss's office. Apparently, the EDGE-FX team (the team on which I interned last year) is badly in need of a UI designer (needing one a lot worse than iCSM needs another engineer), and since I have design experience from my years as a webmutant, I've been asked if I'd be willing to transfer over and take the position.
This is a good thing in a number of ways. First of all, the folks on the EDGE-FX team are great. I had a lot of chemistry with them -- which is an improvement over my current team, with which I have... no chemistry at all, really. Also, I get along a lot better with the EFX team manager, who is a great guy in addition to being an excellent engineer. I won't be getting any more money, but I won't be getting any less, either.
I'll also be able to add "Lead UI Designer, EDGE-FX Team" to my resume, which doesn't upset me at all. :)
