goin' to grad school

kespernorthSo I just met the head of the Digital Media Masters of Communication program, a thin and prematurely greying Asian man named Doctor Lau. I explained a little about my Big Idea to him; he proclaimed it 'brilliant' and proceeded to tell me more about the Digital Media program, which really turned out to be exactly what I want.
It covers all the angles I lack -- working with AV media, management, legal, marketing -- and it has a certain entrepreneurial cant. The program is designed around having an idea, creating the content, cementing the legalities, managing the idea, and marketing it.
Plus students are given the chance to meet people on the program's advisory board -- such as the head of the MS Windows Digital Media Division and the managing editor of the Seattle times -- twice a year, to explain their ideas. He said that I could make my idea a reality, for credit, as my Masters' thesis project, and encouraged me to apply for the Early Admission Response deadline on January 15.
