I picked up "Vapor Transmissions" by Orgy yesterday on a whim, and am enjoying it immensely. It's even better than "Candyass", despite the rockin' New Order cover on that album.

Orgy has a very definitely unique "feel" to it that I have yet to get a handle on. But I think of big dark empty gray places when I listen to it. Somewhere other than here, and not altogether happy. It's kinda cool.

It's also interesting because they've gotten really cyberpunky, yet they aren't very electronic -- more metal. Actual cyber*punk*, rather than *cyber*punk.

try zeromancer (http://www.zeromancer.com). they are everything orgy could've been, if the rest of their albums were as good as their singles and if they actually brought some of their own talent instead of ripping off gary numan and manson.

i dunno if they have stuff to listen to on the page, if you're gonna download i'd say get at least "clone your lover" and "cybergeisha" and "doctor online" and "something for the pain".
