Ever notice how a really good bender leaves you with a certain clarity the next day? You are at peace with your vague hangover; the lethargy it imparts helps you relax and enjoy watching the world pass by.
The last few weeks have been hell. But as I rode the bus home through the streets of Seattle on this brilliant near-spring day, I felt the sense of peace and happiness that has been missing since the accident... perhaps even since I broke up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
01flux. I listened to Beaucoup Fish by Underworld (a CD I bought only half an hour before the accident) and settled into my life again.
It was a beautiful day.
